In keeping with our theme of becoming Career Fit in 2014, join us for the first of two LinkedIn workshops.  As many of you requested, part of your action plan is to maximize LinkedIn.  We will help you to analyze your current profile or help you develop one.  Your resume can help us better define your marketing profile, so please bring a copy with you.  We will not be transferring the resume to LinkedIn; however, we will take some information from the resume (which is your marketing brochure) and develop a profile that best markets your particular strengths.

Sona Joshi is the Assistant Director of Training & Development of Gouverneur Health.  She is a change agent and turnaround specialist with the ability to create high-impact training programs based on the needs, gaps, and objectives of an organization.  Her successful track record of building strong workforces by developing cutting-edge, measurable training and coaching programs is evidenced by her certifications as a Meyers Briggs practitioner in Steps 1 and 2, and is a certified Associate Coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Susan Mozian is a Career Services Consultant certified and trained by Career Partners International.  Susan challenges clients to embrace change and create strategies for change by guiding clients to their "aha" moment, integrating coaching, social media and personal re-invention experience into the job search/career change process.  Currently, she has a private practice and is an On-Call Consultant for the Ayers Group (Kelly Services).

This is the first meeting of the Training Directors' SIG in over a year!
Margaret Clarkson and Evelyn Levine invite you to help shape this SIG by participating in our focus group at the meeting.

Plus, we're very excited to have Judy Umlas kickoff the new chapter of this SIG with an interactive discussion of key content from her program and book Grateful Leadership.  The first 40 people to register get a FREE book, compliments of Drexel University.

Speaker: Judy Umlas, Senior Vice President, Author, Trainer, Publisher, IIL Publishing and allPM.com

Author of Grateful Leadership, a best practices guidebook to employee engagement, staff retention, and increased productivity -- through the power of acknowledgement.

Effective leaders must find ways to enhance people’s level of engagement, commitment and support, especially in the difficult periods all organizations experience at one time or another. Engaged employees work with passion and feel connected and loyal to their organization. This yields higher productivity, sales, and results.

Those leaders who model true acknowledgment behavior will inspire others to do the same and to want to dramatically increase their levels of contribution to the organization, making the power of acknowledgment transformational.

Focus Group by Margaret and Evelyn: Discussion about the Training Directors' SIG focus/format for 2014-2015.

    5:30pm-6:00pm Networking
    6:00pm-7:00pm Speaker Presentation
    7:00pm-7:30pm Focus Group

    Please join us!!

Note: This SIG is primarily for those in leadership positions within learning organizations to come together to learn and share best practices.  Vendors or consultants outside of organizations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
